These photographs illustrate a custom detail and paint scheme on an Aster
USRA Black Mikado. Prior to an Aster Mikado being available in a Southern Railway
green paint scheme, Hans Huwyler of Columbus, NC custom painted and detailed a basic USRA Mikado
kit. Note the "dog house" on the tender for the head end
brakeman.
